that can hardly be described in words. Not even in pictures. It is necessary to
travel through it, live it and feel it in the first person to get an idea. It
is a country that changes people. It is not a cliché, it is true. I think it
affects travelers because of the poverty they can see in it, the dignified and
positive way in which the Indians face it and the religiosity present in every
second that is spent there.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">If INDIA is in your destination, I recommend you visit
the following places, they will leave you impressed with their beauty.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">1.Kerala

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The southern state of Kerala is one of the most famous
in India. It is on the west coast and, in addition to miles and miles of
tropical beaches, it is full of forests and animals. Culturally it is also very
interesting since here you will find Hindu temples, churches, mosques and even
synagogues in a state that is considered communist (it is full of communist
flags everywhere).

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">With permission from Ayurvedic medicine treatments and
massages and Khatakali dances, Kerala's most famous experience is the canoe
ride through the Backwaters of Alappuzha or Kottayam. The Backwaters are
rivers, lakes and canals surrounded by vegetation and in which many people
live.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">2. Hampi

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The small town of Hampi is the most popular
destination in the State of Karnataka. The town was once the capital of the
Vijayanagar Empire. Today many of its ruins are still preserved, which are
World Heritage Sites by Unesco. The landscape around Hampi is brutal and the
best way to get to know it is by renting a motorcycle and going up some of the
mountains.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">3. Goa

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Goa is probably the most touristic and smallest state
in the country. It is the ideal place if you are looking for beaches and
parties. In addition to its beaches, Goa is famous for its hippie markets and
trance parties. The normal thing in Goa is to sleep in a cabin on top of a palm
tree in front of the beach, and to rent a motorcycle to tour the state.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">4.Varansi (or Benares)

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">One of the oldest cities in the world, continuously
inhabited for more than 3000 years. It is one of the obligatory places if you
want to know the authentic India. Varansi is a sacred city for Hinduism since
the Ganges River passes through it, that makes religion permeate everything. An
estimated 60,000 people bathe every day in the highly polluted and sacred
waters of the river. So a walk through the Ghats (the stairs that go down to
the river) is essential to get to know the city.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">5. Haridwar and Rishikesh

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Haridwar is in the north of the country, in the state
of Uttarakhand. Haridwar means the gate to God and the Ganges River also passes
through it. Although here it is clean. This town is famous for the Kumbh Mela
festival. A festival that is held every 12 years and in 2003 brought together
70 million people. So it is the biggest festival in the world and probably in
the history of mankind.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">6.Manali

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Manali is a town in northern India at more than 2000
meters above sea level. This town is famous among travelers for being the place
where those who want to smoke xaras (Indian hashish) go. And it is true that
there are many people who go there (especially Israelis), but Manali is also a
good place to go for excursions. The forests around the town are beautiful and
are made up of giant trees with huge waterfalls.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">7. Srinagar

that has been facing India and Pakistan for decades. Srinagar is a city with a
huge lake in the middle, full of houseboats that you can stay in. A highly
recommended experience is to spend a day in a boat strolling around the lake
observing life in it.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2993000368462299133.post-38768845645401195022020-09-18T17:12:00.004-07:002020-09-18T17:12:45.902-07:00PLACES YOU MUST VISIT IN PERU

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">

PERU

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Peru
is a country in South America that encompasses a section of the Amazon forest
and Machu Picchu, an ancient Inca city high in the Andes. The region around
Machu Picchu, including the Sacred Valley, the Inca Trail, and the colonial
city of Cuzco, is rich in archaeological sites. On the arid Pacific coast of
Peru is Lima, the capital, with a preserved colonial center and important
collections of pre-Columbian art.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">There
are many essential places to see in Peru, beyond the wonderful Machu Picchu,
although we cannot deny that this, by itself, already justifies a trip to one
of our favorite countries. Peru is one of the most popular trips in South
America, in which we will find Inca ruins, historical cities, the wild nature
of the Amazon, incredible landscapes of valleys, deserts and beaches, along
with one of the best gastronomies in the world, with ceviche as star dish,
which will make this trip exceed all your expectations.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Here
are the places you should visit if your destination is Peru

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">1.
Machu Picchu

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Machu
Picchu, the lost city of the Incas and one of the seven wonders of the world,
is the most essential place to visit in Peru. This ancient Inca citadel
remained for centuries hidden among the mountains and thick vegetation, until
it was discovered by the American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Machu
Picchu is located about 130 kilometers from Cusco, above 2,500 meters of
altitude between the peaks Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu, two magnificent
viewpoints of the ruins, to which you can climb, taking out the corresponding
entrance next to the ruins.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
most mystical and spectacular way to get there is by doing the Inca trail,
traveling the more than 40 kilometers that in 4 days, through incredible paths
and steps of ancient stones, lush forests, valleys and mountains wrapped in
dense fog, will take us even the dream of many travelers.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"> 2.
Cuzco

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Cuzco,
declared a World Heritage Site, is one of the most beautiful cities in America
and our favorite in Peru. This ancient capital of the Inca Empire preserves
very few buildings from this time, although in some of the colonial buildings
you can see Inca remains on its walls, such as the twelve-angle stone.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
Plaza de Armas is the epicenter of the city, in which its cathedral stands out,
a place chosen by many inhabitants to spend a few hours in the afternoon,
enjoying the life of Cuzco.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Other
of the great attractions of the city are strolling through the beautiful
artisan neighborhood of San Blas, getting lost in the San Pedro market, seeing
the Inca remains of the Temple of the Moon or entering the Santo Domingo Convent,
built on the Temple of the sun.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">3.
Iquitos

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">One
of the most important decisions, depending on the days available, is to include
or not the Peruvian Amazon in the trip and enter the jungle from Iquitos or
Puerto Maldonado.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">After
the experience, we have no doubts, we recommend reserving between 3 and 5 days
to visit the Amazon, one of the most essential places to visit in Peru and
whenever possible, both for days and for budget, to do it in the area from
Iquitos.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Puerto
Maldonado is more accessible and cheaper than Iquitos, although over time it
has become a tourist attraction that can distort the true image of the immense
and wild Amazon.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Iquitos
can only be reached by boat or by plane from Lima, so being more isolated will
allow you to experience the most authentic Amazon, although as we mentioned
before, the price is more expensive.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">4.
Lake Titicaca

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Lake
Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, is located very close to the
city of Puno at 3,800 meters of altitude. This immense lake, in which its calm
blue waters blend into the sky, is one of the most essential places to see in
Peru.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">To
tour the lake and visit the islands of Uros and Taquile from Puno you can take
a boat in the port, from where just over 5 kilometers from the pier you will
find the Island of Iros, built with totora, a typical aquatic plant of the
area.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
houses and most of the items are made of this plant, and you can even sail on a
reed boat and although we generally found it a very touristy visit, we believe
that it is worth knowing its history and if you have time, it is a visit that
must be made in this area of the country.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"> 5.
Paracas National Reserve and the Ballestas Islands

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Just
under 4 hours by bus from Lima is the Paracas National Reserve, located next to
the Peruvian coast and another of the best places to see in Peru. This national
reserve forms a unique ecosystem in the world, which combines a desert area
with a great marine diversity due to the great abundance of food in the form of
plankton.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It
is advisable to visit this protected natural area with a guide, especially so
as not to miss places such as the red beach, fossil deposits, the fauna and the
archaeological remains of the ancient Paracas Culture, explained by an expert,
which will bring you much closer to the history of this area of the country.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Very
close to Paracas there is another of the places to visit in Peru, the Ballestas
Islands, small rocky islands that on excursions are surrounded by small boats
that leave from the Paracas pier to see its large number of birds, the colony
of Humboldt penguins and sea lions.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">6.
Arequipa

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Arequipa,
known as the white city and built above 2,000 meters of altitude, in the desert
mountains of the Andes, is together with Cuzco, one of the most beautiful
cities in Peru, dominated by volcanic stone houses blanca, which together with
the historic center were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">7.
Oasis of Huacachina

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Located
about 5 kilometers from the city of Ica, is the photogenic Oasis of Huacachina,
another of the places that enter all routes through the country and that is on
the list of the essentials to visit in Peru.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">This
oasis located in the middle of the coastal desert, with emerald green waters
and surrounded by palm trees, is one of the few natural oases left in all of
America.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
oasis has a hotel infrastructure to spend the night and many leisure activities
such as a buggy ride through the desert, practicing sandboarding from its high
dunes or simply walking to the top of a dune to contemplate the beautiful
sunset over the oasis.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
Huacachina Oasis is located about 80 kilometers from Paracas and you can get
from Lima by bus from the Cruz del Sur station to Ica and there take a taxi to
the oasis.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">8.
Nazca

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">One
of the great archaeological mysteries of history is found in the arid Nazca
desert. Between the years 700 a.C. and 200 AD the Nazca culture developed in
this area, in which its inhabitants created the Nazca Lines, removing the red
stones and leaving the white sandstone underneath, thus forming huge geoglyphs
with human, animal or geometric figures, only visible from the air.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Many
theories, from a huge calendar to religious ceremonies or the visitation of
extraterrestrials, have been written about the reasons why these huge figures
were created, without reaching any definitive conclusion or provable theory
today.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
only way to see the figures is to fly over the Nazca lines by plane from its
small airport located next door. The flight because of the wind and the pilot's
maneuvers, is used to being moved, so it is advisable not to have breakfast
before, have something for dizziness and go prepared with the bag that they
will give you when you climb.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Other
visits that are very worthwhile in Nazca, is the Chauchilla Cemetery, a

Sacred Valley

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Between
Písac and Ollantaytambo, on the banks of the Urubamba River, is the famous
Sacred Valley of the Incas. Due to its climate and geography, this fertile
valley was one of the main sources of food supply of the Inca empire where the
archaeological ruins of several Inca settlements remain and where you can also
visit several traditional towns from the colonial era.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Pisac
with its artisan market and the Inca archaeological remains located on a
mountain is one of the most famous places in the sacred valley and that we advise
you, you cannot miss in Peru.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Other
essentials are the fortress of Ollantaytambo, the town of Chinchero, the salt
mines of Maras and Moray, one of the agricultural research centers of the Inca
empire.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The
best way to visit the Sacred Valley is from Cuzco by taxi or by booking a tour
with a guide in Spanish so you don't miss any detail of one of the most
incredible areas of the country.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2993000368462299133.post-85597204572177348602020-09-17T13:52:00.007-07:002020-09-17T13:52:56.085-07:00¡¡¡PLACES YOU MUST VISIT IN EGYPT!!!

EGYPT

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Egypt (officially the Arab Republic of Egypt), the
cradle of our civilization, is a country of contrasts and controversies in all
its areas. From their religion, through politics and even through the tourism
sector itself.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Destination sought and dreamed of by anyone who has an
interest in architectural, anthropological or spiritual issues, but very
difficult for independent travelers and, above all, female travelers.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">If your destination is Egypt I will provide you with a
small list of places you must visit

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Clothing

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">• If you are a girl or a boy traveling with your
partner (as was my case), you have to be aware that you are going to an Arab
country where many men have never seen a woman's ankle or shoulder in their
life.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Therefore, clothing is a fundamental point to avoid
problems or, what is the same, go unnoticed. I know this may not be to your
liking or understanding, but remember that the goal is to avoid uncomfortable
situations.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">• Long sleeves and long pants or skirt (and do not
mark the curves): I know from experience that it is very hot. We were in the
middle of August, but you will appreciate not being in constant pressure with
lewd looks. Light linen garments are the best to combat high temperatures. It
is essential not to show shoulders or knees.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">• Head covered: you can use a veil or a simple scarf
to cover yourself. The Egyptians will show more respect with this simple
detail. In addition, you will protect yourself from the righteous sun.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Where
to sleep in Egypt?

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">If you go with a trip organized by an agency, you may
not need it.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">But we, who did half organized and half our own, use
Airbnb as it is starting to be a platform that gives us a lot of confidence and
security when it comes to booking accommodation.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It also gives you coupons every time you invite a
friend and you can even stay for free!

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">What
to see in Egypt?

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Romantic
cruise on the Nile

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Many tourists go to Egypt just to cross the Nile by
cruise ship, at all stops the guide and the driver were waiting for us to tell
us all the details of the history around the different cities and museums that
we visit.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Temple
in Edfu.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">These temples of ancient Egypt, without a guide, are
half enjoyed since most of them have architectural and pictorial similarities.
When you have seen 3 or 4 you will believe that they are all, more or less, the
same.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">But not so much less. The most interesting thing about
the temples are the hieroglyphic reliefs that are hidden in their walls.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Dahab

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">An oasis of peace. Traveling to Egypt and not stepping
on Dahab is like eating a salad without tomato (what's up, I really like
tomato!). Come on, you're going to go without knowing one of the most different
places in the country.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The vast majority of tourists go to visit the beaches
and / or to snorkel and dive, stopping in cities such as Hurghada or Sharm El
Sheikh.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">What
else can I do in Dahab?

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">To be under the sea is to discover a new world and it
is incredible.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Although this was for me the best of Dahab and what I
have burned for life, you can do a lot more things.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">I recommend that you go to see the sunset at the beach
known as Eel Garden. The further north the better. From here you can see the
mountains of Saudi Arabia right on the opposite coast of the Red Sea where you
are.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">If you're not going to dive, at least go snorkeling at
the Blue Hole. It is quite crowded but it is well worth it. To avoid crowds, go
at sunrise or sunset.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">You can also visit the medina or do some of the
excursions through the desert and the mountains. You will see them on all the
posters of tourist companies as soon as you take a walk along the promenade
right next to the sea.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Cairo
and the pyramids of Giza

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Mandatory stop if you travel to Egypt by air. And
probably your first destination.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It is a huge city that most people travel with more
pain than glory. Most likely, they will visit the pyramids of Giza directly…
and pass the rest by the dirt, noise and tremendous chaos that surrounds it.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">What
to do in cairo?

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">• The pyramids of Giza and the sphinx (same
enclosure).

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">• Islamic Cairo (Islamic Cairo).

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">•Egyptian Museum.

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">•
Coptic Cairo.

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">•
Cairo Tower.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">• Essences shop in Giza "El Sheikh". The
owner in question is called Ganal and mixes spirituality with aromas by
synchronizing the chakras through different essences. Quite a discovery. It is
quite difficult to find it without a guide, but more or less, the store is
here. Ganal's son speaks Spanish and will be able to answer all your questions.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">

and Dahshur instead of those of Giza, since these were built before and you can
redo the history in your head much better.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">In this area, located some 30 km from Cairo, the
necropolis of the ancient city of Memphis was established.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Here you will find must-see monuments such as the Step

tombs with paintings over 10,000 years old with the colors practically intact. <span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Very

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It
is considered that it was built 300 years BC and abandoned in the 10th century
for reasons that are not yet known. It had a rediscovery in 1784, after many
years of the conquest of America. The mystery of this is that every so often
information is lost about it, and when it is rediscovered it has much more to
do, archaeologists find more and more remains of past life.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The

destinations on the planet. It is true, traveling to Japan means being
fascinated by that mixture of ancient traditions with cutting-edge
technologies. In few places on the planet you will be able to experience at the
same time what it means to move through a futuristic metropolis like Tokyo, to
see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Fuji from an onsen, to admire the delicacy
of a Japanese garden in Kanazawa, to listen to prayers in a Buddhist temple in
Kyoto at sunset or taste the freshest sushi in the world.

In Japan you can go from overcrowded
cities to villages where they are still not used to the presence of foreigners,
but in both scenarios you will feel treated like a guest of honor.

The best time to visit Japan

Depending on the time of year, your
trip to Japan can be completely different, so the season you choose can greatly
influence what to do and what to see in Japan.

In summer the heat that tends to be
in the most touristy areas is usually suffocating and with high humidity. There
are also many possibilities of torrential rains with risk of typhoons at the
end of the hottest season. However, in summer some of the most important
festivals or matsuris in the whole country are celebrated, such as the Gion
Matsuri in Kyoto, the Tenjin Matsuri in Osaka or the Samba Matsuri in the
Asakusa neighborhood of Tokyo.

In winter the climate is very
similar to that of Spain, although temperatures tend to be more rigorous and it
is not strange to see snowfall and very low temperatures even in Tokyo. On the
northern island of Hokkaido or in the Japanese Alps there are many ski resorts
and the winter is much harsher. If you travel during this time, don't miss the
Yuki Matsuri in Sapporo.

Fall is probably one of the best
times of the year to travel to Japan, as temperatures are very pleasant and the
country's main attractions are less crowded. You will marvel at the reddish
tones of nature in what there is called the momiji, especially in places like
Nikko, Hakone or Miyajima.

Spring is the true high season in
Japan for the phenomenon of hanami or the explosion of cherry blossoms and also
for the so-called Golden Week in which the Japanese enjoy a few days off. Both
nature and large cities are full of small cherry blossom petals that draw an
incredible picture throughout the country. The temperatures are usually very
pleasant, although it usually rains and is cold until mid-April. In May there
are not too many cherry blossoms left but you can enjoy the Sanja Matsuri in
Tokyo or the best sumo competitions.

Here are 5 places you must visit in Japan

1._ Shibuya

The famous Shibuya crossing is
undoubtedly one of the most iconic images of Tokyo. On a typical working day,
this bustling intersection can experience pedestrian traffic levels of 2.8
million people. Yes, as you hear it, 2.8 million people in one day! So if
you're trying to get a cool selfie in the midst of the madness at this
junction, make sure you get to the other side of the road before the light
turns red!

2._ Naoshima

Naoshima is a small island in the
Seto Inland Sea that is part of Kanagawa Prefecture. Although it is a very
pleasant excursion from Tokyo that will allow you to get to know rural Japanese
a little better, the island is famous above all for its many museums of modern
art, its architecture and its sculptures, many of them designed by the
well-known architect Ando Tadao

3._ Asakusa

This area of Tokyo is known above
all for being the main cultural area of the city. Although the district is
home to some small temples, the main attraction is the majestic Senso-ji Temple
and the surrounding Nakamise shopping area. In addition to these historical
treasures, Asakusa is also located within walking distance of the Tokyo Sky
Tree and the headquarters of Asahi beer.

4. Akihabara

Here you will find everything:
anime, manga, video games, computers… In fact, it will be difficult to find a
place with such a high concentration of “geek culture” on the entire planet! So
if you want to go to a maid cafe (or even something a little more risky), look
no further and come to the fantastic Akihabara.

5._ Kabukicho

Shinjuku is a neighborhood famous
for its overwhelming neon lights. And proof of this is the area of Kabukicho,
whose name comes from the Kabuki theater that was erected in the vicinity after
the devastating consequences of World War II. Since then, Kabukicho has grown
into one of Japan's largest "red quarters", a place rife with bars,
contemporary hostess clubs, and other modern adult entertainment.

The Jet d'Eau is surely the largest and most famous fountain in
Switzerland, as well as one of the places to visit in Geneva. You will find
this powerful jet of water that reaches 140 meters in height where the city's
lake meets the Rhone. In this place the liquid element ascends at a speed of
200 kilometers per hour, which is said soon but is outrageous. Up to 7,000
liters of water can be in the air in no time! Be very careful with the
direction of the wind, if you get too close and it changes suddenly you could
end up less wet.

Lake Leman or Lake Geneva (in French Lac Léman or Lac de Genève) is not
only one of the favorite recreational sites for locals and visitors, it is also
a beautiful natural border between Switzerland –to the north– and France –to
the south– . If you wish, aboard a small boat you can go from one country to
another in a matter of minutes, one of the most curious things to do during
your trip. Furthermore, this large body of water turns out to be the largest
lake in Western Europe, and the Alps can be seen clearly from its shore. If the
weather is good and you have a good eye from its shore you will be able to
appreciate Mont Blanc, which at 4,809 meters is the highest mountain in Europe
(if we exclude the peaks of the Caucasus).

Headquarters of the United Nations (UN)

After New York, the headquarters of the United Nations Organization in
Geneva (UNOG) is the largest of all. You will find it in the Palais des
Nations, in French Palais des Nations, a majestic building embraced by a park
from which you have a beautiful view of Lake Geneva. What to see in this
imposing space? Among other rooms, you can visit the Human Rights room and the
Alliance of Civilizations. It is starred in the great dome of the Spanish
artist Miquel Barceló, which is considered the Sistine Chapel of the UN. The
visit is not free, but it is guided. You can check timetables and prices here
(information only available in English and French). It is one of the places to
visit in Geneva that no one should miss.

English Garden Flower Clock

Surely the most sought after attraction behind the Jet d'Eau is the
English Garden flower clock or l’horloge fleuri du Jardin Anglais in French,
one of the places to visit in Geneva. Planted in the mid-1950s, this iconic
collection of flowers perfectly blends the botanical and watchmaking tradition
of the area. All this while remaining a real beauty.

European Heritage since 2007, St. Peter's Cathedral is one of the most
relevant religious buildings and one of the essential things to see in the city
of Geneva. It owes its fame to being the mother church adopted by John Calvin,
one of the greatest exponents of the Protestant Reformation. In fact, this
Christian building that began to be built in the 12th century still preserves a
wooden chair that was once used by the influential French theologian. An
eclectic place where elements from multiple architectural trends coexist.

Due to
its unique architecture, it is nicknamed The Smurfs, as they say that their
houses resemble those of the little blue characters of Peyo. Connoisseurs
establish a parallel between these residences built in the early eighties and
the work of Gaudí. Go through it yourself and draw your own conclusion.
Whatever it is, surely its urban fabric will not leave you indifferent.

is a building of great local and international importance and another of the
places to visit. Located in the old part of the city, its superb exterior
highlights a rare paved ramp, the work of Pierre Desfosses made between 1555
and 1578; its no less impressive interior, the Alabama Room, famous for hosting
the first Geneva Convention and the birth of the International Red Cross.

Geneva is known for its exclusive shopping streets and exorbitant
prices, which is why those who travel on a low budget or are crazy about
bargains find the Plainpalais flea market, in French, marché de Plainpalais,
especially attractive. If it does not rain, you will find it mounted from early
in the morning of every Wednesday and Sunday (except for the first Sunday of
the month), in winter until 5:30 p.m., in summer until 6:30 p.m. There, an
endless number of antique furniture is sold, as well as a large number of
collector's cultural objects related to the world of music (CDs, vinyl,
magazines, etc.). A curious place to stroll full of opportunities to shop at
reasonable prices and one of the best things to do to relax.

Do not hesitate to visit any of these places that we mention, enjoy your stay and leave us the comment with your pleasant experience.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2993000368462299133.post-92068913937514643972020-09-10T08:30:00.008-07:002020-09-10T08:30:05.967-07:00QUEBEC - CANADA

Quebec - Canada

Canada is a beautiful country, either for its incredible nature or for
some of its cities, with a colonial air that make them authentic jewels to

to be the most beautiful city in the country. Do you want to meet her?

Quebec is the most important city in French-speaking Canada. It gives
its name to the province in which it is located and is one of the most historic
in the country. In fact, it dates back to the early 17th century when it was
founded by Samuel de Champlain.

It was an important colony of France, a country that impregnated this
entire area of Canada with its architectural style. The stone houses with
mezzanines reminiscent of the streets of Paris are perfect for walking around
and taking thousands of photos and, in addition to turning Quebec into a
beautiful city, they have made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The name "Quebec" means "where the river narrows,"
referring to the flow of the Saint Lawrence River between the city and

to the province, and it runs through a large part of it before flowing into the
Atlantic Ocean, forming the largest estuary in the world.

Lights. This is the only place in the world where you can see the dancing
northern lights during the day, because at this point on the planet, during the
winter months there is NO sunlight. It is here that the largest seed bank in
the world is located, better known as the vault of the end of the world.

The Northern Lights are FREE. Heaven does not charge for such a show.
However, it is necessary to leave the city and get as far away as possible from
the city lights to be able to contemplate them, that is why many people choose
to pay for tours such as those mentioned above.

Prices may vary according to the time of year and especially to the
location. For example, a tour in Svalvard can be 3 times more expensive than in
Tromso, however the experiences can be very different.

NO AGENCY can guarantee the sighting of the Northern Lights. Although
they tell you the opposite: the thing is simple, the Northern Lights are the
product of Mother Nature and no one but her is in control.

About the specialized equipment for the cold that is included in the
tours. In some places such as SVALVARD, the equipment is ESSENTIAL, since your
life and the integrity and health of your limbs depend on it. You are
practically at the north pole! Saving a few pesos does not apply here, your safety
is at stake.

On the other hand, there are places not so extreme, (Tromso is one of
them) where you can do without equipment. We experienced the Northern Lights in
Skibotn, a town near Tromso, and although we were warmly bundled up, there was
no need to pay for special equipment.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2993000368462299133.post-91501726252588266562020-09-07T19:21:00.000-07:002020-09-07T19:21:19.321-07:00CUBA

CUBA

10 tips you should know

If you are thinking of visiting Cuba, in this note we propose a list of

necessary in your suitcase. In Cuba it is difficult to find some products. If
you travel to the most touristic destinations you will find several stores but
the prices are usually very high. For example, a bottle of shampoo will cost
you at least $ 100 mx. So if you can bring these products with you, you will
save a few pesos.

2- BRING A COMPLETE KIT, BLOCKER AND MOSQUITO REPELLENT

The second very important tip if you travel to Cuba is to bring a

mosquitoes. We recommend that you take these two products with you because they
are very expensive in Cuba. The sunscreen will cost you approximately $ 300 mxn

Morocco is full of fascinating places to savor a good mint tea and forget about the routine. Today I would like to share what I consider my essential places to see in Morocco and that deserve not one but many trips. So take note and take into account this place so that you visit it in the company of the family, we begin ...

White House

It is the Hassan II Mosque, which, although from the end of the 20th century, is one of the most beautiful Islamic complexes that populates the African continent. It is raised over the sea on an artificial peninsula, it has a gigantic minaret 172 meters high and it is only surpassed in dimensions by the sacred sanctuary of Mecca. In fact, there are no less than 100,000 faithful if we add the interior of the building and the main courtyard. A wonder in which more than 10,000 artisans from the country intervened to work the ceilings, walls and columns with top quality materials.

Dadès Valley, karst territory

It is one of those gifts that geology has left in southern Morocco. The landscape variety opens its range to gorges and karst canyons, rocks with impossible shapes and a reddish hue that collides with the white of the peaks of the Great Atlas. In my case I was lucky enough to travel this winding road and during a month of January in which it began to snow. From the cliffs hang a good number of kasbahs and ksours whose adobe has weakened over the centuries. It can be considered the heart of the route of the kasbahs since the density of them is evident

Marrakech and the square of wonders

The life of this place, lit by the lavish Koutoubia mosque (sister of the Giralda of Seville) facilitates a safe encounter with toothpicks, casters, snake charmers (and what are not snakes), monkeys of the barbary, vendors of three to the fourth, preachers, letterheads, bohemians and a wide collection of open-mouthed tourists who do not believe what happens there.

Volubilis

This city founded by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC reached its maximum prosperity when it passed into Roman hands and the main monuments were erected that today can be seen within an immense complex of ruins also protected by UNESCO. Later in the 7th century, after a period of decline, Idrís I proclaimed himself emir, claiming to be great-grandson of Muhammad and Volubilis became the Islamic heart in this area of the Maghreb. Although with the Lisbon earthquake of 1755 it was destroyed and many of its buildings were looted to raise a new Meknes, it has remains of great importance such as the Basilica and the Temple of Jupiter, the Forum that completely structured the city, some ancient hot springs, an arch dedicated to the Emperor Caracalla

Fez

suitable for those who enjoy getting lost in mazes. Because the medina of Fez is considered not only the largest in the Muslim world, but one of the most authentic. From the ancient Benimerin tombs it is possible to understand from the outside what this network of streets and alleys that do not end anywhere looks like and that seems to have been stranded in a distant time....

Rabat

It is the shy sister of the Moroccan imperial cities, even the least visited. And perhaps that is why Rabat ends up being one of the most attractive and surprising places for travelers to stay in Morocco. On the south bank of the Bu Regreg river just as it is about to flow into the Atlantic, a small medina of white houses emerges, full of authenticity and devoid of impersonal souvenir shops.

Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, the Kingdom of heaven

The cities fortified by the Berbers are known by ksars or ksours, most with adobe walls, many of which are in southern Morocco (although there are also other countries in the Maghreb). It is easy to confuse and exchange this concept with that of kasbah, but by kasbah we mean a type of fortification that we could compare more closely with a castle.

Egypt stretches 1,000 kilometers from south to north and expands on both sides of the Nile River leaving a world of monuments and deserts. If we travel with enough time, here is a list of the best places to visit and the essential plans to do in Egypt. So if you have planned to start looking for some places where you can travel with the family, do not stop reading this article and start planning that trip that you deserve so much, we started ...

Cairo Old Town

To understand the history of Egypt is to understand the past of the country beyond pyramids and pharaohs. The Arabs and the Copts left a legacy that can be felt in the Old City of Cairo, in neighborhoods such as Khan El Khalili, in the Alabaster Mosque of the Saladin Citadel, in the Ibn Tulum Mosque, in the Coptic neighborhood

Elephantine Island visit

Aboard one of these felucca you can reach one of the last settlements of the Nubian people, Elephantine Island. On this island of Aswan the descendants of the ancient kingdom endure, painting their houses in bright colors to the amazement of the tourist.

Cairo Egyptian Museum

Many of the treasures of Ancient Egypt are here, in this old colonial-style building in the middle of the noisy capital. Tutankhamun's collection and mask are a must-see while in Cairo.

In 2020, its new location will be inaugurated, on the outskirts of Giza, and it will then be the largest archaeological museum in the world.

Know the Western Desert

Going into the Egyptian desert is one of the greatest adventures that the country offers, to visit amazing places such as the White Desert. But in recent years, for security reasons, routes have been quite limited. It is essential that you get hold of a trustworthy agency and that you know the challenges of the desert well.

Giza pyramids

The classical pyramids of the Giza plateau are the most famous, but if you want to go further, you should not miss either the Saqqara and Dahshur ones.

In Giza, at dusk, a light show adorns the triangular facades and the sphinx.

Luxor Temple

It is one of the best known archaeological remains, due to its good state of preservation and because it is practically in the center of the town. You can reach it on your own, both during the day (when it is open) and at night (to be able to admire it illuminated).

Alexandria city

The Nile has always ended here, and perhaps it can be said that the modernity of Egypt began here. Facing the Mediterranean, he saw the coming of new civilizations that influenced the evolution of Egyptian culture for centuries. Today it is the second most important city in the country and a very interesting visit for tourists. It can be reached in a few hours by train from Cairo.

Hurghada Beaches

When one tires of temples or can no longer bear the arid desert air, the most common escape route is Hurghada and the turquoise waters that bathe it. This Red Sea beach destination can be reached by private car or public bus from Luxor, or by plane from Cairo.

Kenya is an impressive country, it is very large. One of the most wonderful things, its incredible natural wealth; fauna, vegetation, landscapes, people. It is a country of great cultural and natural interest. So take note and on your next vacation you decide to go to kenya to enjoy beautiful and fantastic places that it has for you and your whole family to know, we start ...

Masai mara national park

It is an impressive place for a photographic report and to have the best travel memories you have ever made. One of the very interesting options is to be able to observe the savanna on a balloon trip, it is impressive.

Activities in Kenya

Outside of nature we can find great diversity in gastronomy, being able to enjoy it in Nairobi, including shopping, which is a mandatory stop on this trip to Kenya, not only because it is the country's capital, but because flying from Spain to Nairobi can be fairly inexpensive if you search early.

We can visit some cities on the coast such as Mombasa or Malindi, or Lamu Island (click to find cool and discounted accommodation), in all of them you can enjoy the sea.

The gastronomy

Is very diverse, as it is also a coastal country, the fish has a great presence with delicious dishes such as pili pili prawns, prepared with pili pili sauce, based on a mixture of butter, red chilies, garlic, lime juice, grated coconut, fresh coriander and paprika. The ugali is eaten very hot and eaten with kid's hands and kebabs.

Climb Mount Kenya

With a height of 3,800 meters, Mount Kenya is the second highest peak on the continent. But the ascent trails are much less crowded than their snowy counterpart (Kilimanjaro) across the border in Tanzania. You will likely have the entire mountain to yourself by yourself during a hike that typically lasts for five days (with four nights on the mountain).

Dive into the sea at Diani

The fine white sand and jade-colored waters protected by a coral reef, Diani offers a wide range of outdoor sports (kitesurfing, skydiving, snorkeling, water skiing), modern beachfront bars and restaurants, and shops.

Travel on the Nairobi-Mombassa train

Known as the "Lunatic Express" when it opened in 1901 (because it seemed like a crazy idea to build a railroad through the African jungle), the legendary line was completely modernized in 2017 with a $ 2.3 billion remodel, both from trains like tracks.

Dance in Nairobi

The capital city has a modern universe of nightlife unlike any other on the continent. The Westlands neighborhood and nearby Waiyaki Way, in the northwest of the city, offer numerous bars, clubs, and cocktail lounges, where a heady mix of locals, expats, and visitors drink (and dance) all night long.

Surely you are looking for some options to travel with the whole family, now that we are all at home I write you in the different articles some suggestions that you can visit and that are very expensive for us, so take note and it is your turn to make that dream trip With some of the articles that I leave you here, we begin ...

Churches of Tigray

Hidden as lost treasures in the arid landscape, the ancient rock churches of Tigray are a fascinating counterpoint to the famous temples of the city of Lalibela. Of undeniable historical and artistic importance, partly carved out of the rock and partly built, most are located on remote cliffs reached after long walks (sometimes even climbing), but that is also part of its appeal .

Montes Bale

The Ethiopian wolf is the rarest canid in the world, but on the Sanetti plateau (4,000 m), in the Bale mountains, sighting it is almost guaranteed. In addition to watching the wolves hunt down the giant mole rat, the traveler will be amazed by the forests and the Harenna escarpment. Although the mountains are ideal for trekking, it is not necessary to get off the vehicle, since you can also drive on the highest road in Africa, passable throughout the year.

Harar

Without a doubt, the most fascinating city in Ethiopia. Getting lost in the winding alleys of Harar is as irresistible as visiting its many museums, markets and the traditional houses of the old walled city. And then there are the hyenas. Two families are responsible for providing food and inviting travelers to do the same. These large carnivores roam the city, making it possible to cross them if you go for a walk at night: a very unique, but harmless encounter. Above: Market at Shoa Gate.

Aksumite tombs

For about 5000 years the monoliths were used in northeast Africa as tombs and monuments in honor of their sovereigns, being in Aksum where this tradition reached its maximum expression. Like the pyramids of Egypt, the stelae of Aksum depicted huge posters crying out for the authority and greatness of families in power. They are striking for their size, their magnificent state of preservation and their surprising modern appearance. The newer pieces, carved from a single block of granite, sport small windows, doors, and even handles and locks.

Ethiopian gastronomy

Eating in the Ethiopian style is a wonderful experience, both for the sense of community when sharing a table, and for the diversity of flavors and dishes, which make it one of the richest gastronomies on the continent. The first time you taste a shiro, doro wat, or tibs, it will be an experience of wonder and discovery. Among the many ideal places for a memorable meal, Yod Abyssinia in Addis Ababa is recommended.

Gondar

Gondar is a true historical treasure. The walls of the Imperial City are home to half a dozen medieval palaces and countless legends; As you explore them, it is easy to imagine the sumptuous celebrations they hosted. Outside the walls there are calm and evocative places, such as the Fasiladas baths, the Kuskuam complex and the Debre Birhan Selassie church, which a swarm of bees saved from the Sudanese dervishes.

Know all the places that you can visit in Miami and be amazed, you will not regret having visited it. Miami is a unique city, so much so that you will not believe that you are in the United States at times. Its Latin atmosphere will catch you and make you feel at home. The beaches of South Beach, with transparent water and white sand, will conquer you during the day. So take note so that on your next trip you have this new option to visit and meet, we begin ...

South Beach

Known as SoBe by locals, South Beach is the most famous and most beautiful part of the city, so be sure to cross it off your list of places to visit in Miami. Kilometers of white sand, beach bars, beautiful houses of the art deco style beach watchers, shops and good restaurants await you. Be sure to walk along the well-known Ocean Drive, where vintage cars ride at any time of the day and where it is better to have your eyes open, there is always someone famous in the area!

Villa Vizcaya

This villa was the dream of magnate James Deering, who wanted to own a winter residence in the city and managed to open it in 1916. It is a 3-story Italian Renaissance-style mansion surrounded by manicured gardens next to Biscayne Bay. Its owner could only enjoy it for 9 years, since he passed away. However, it is now open to the public and houses Deering's imposing art collection located among the 34 spectacular mansion rooms. One of the highlights of the visit is the large stone barge that leads to the bay. Without a doubt, one of the most interesting places to visit in Miami.

Miami Museum of Art

The Museo de Arte de Miami or Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is one of the places of interest in the city. Located in front of Biscayne Bay, in the beautiful Bicentennial Park, the museum building is already a work of art. It was designed by famed architects Herzog & de Meuron and is one of the most photographed buildings in Miami for its beautiful vertical garden. Inside you will find more than 1800 works of art by artists from around the world produced from the middle of the 20th century to the present day. Without a doubt, one of the most interesting places to visit in Miami.

Little Havana

Little Havana is Miami's Latin Quarter and, as you must have guessed from the name, home to a huge Cuban community. One of the most interesting things to do in Miami is to walk along the so-called Calle Ocho, where you will feel that you are walking down a street in Cuba (saving great distances, of course). In addition to typical food restaurants, where you can taste a good Cuban sandwich, you can visit cigar shops, see how the oldest veterans gather to play dominoes in a small park (Domino Park) and, obviously, have a mojito. If you plan to go sightseeing in Miami during the month of March, you should not miss the huge street party in the neighborhood. The celebrations are in style!

Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden

In the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden you will find more than 33 hectares of gardens with all kinds of exotic plants and trees. This magnificent place was founded by one of the world's explorers and collectors of plants, David Fairchild, in 1938. Some of the most impressive places are in Palmetum Montgomery, the Alameda, the Vine Pergola and the Amphitheater. Strolling and knowing a little more about our flora in this botanical garden is one of the best things to do in Miami.

Belgium is one of the great unknown in Europe. And look how small and easy to get around. And see that you eat well (and drink better). And look, it has cities full of charm and others so cosmopolitan that it is difficult not to feel welcome. So in this article we leave you what you can see what to do in this beautiful country in your next next vacation with the family, we begin ...

European Parliament

Brussels is the headquarters of this important institution and you can get to know it for free.

Leuven

Until a friend went there on Erasmus, and when I saw all her photos, I had a crazy desire to pay her a visit. In addition to being a place with a student roll, it has one of the most beautiful municipalities in Belgium.

Brussels

The country's capital and perfect destination for a few-day getaway. Among its essentials are the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, the Manneken Pis, symbol of the city, or the impressive Atomium.

Mechelen

A city that is not very well known but that has several important monuments. If it's on your way, don't hesitate to stop.

Durbuy

It boasts a strange record: it seems to be the smallest city in the world, with only 10,000 inhabitants. In 1331 he changed the title from town to city, which he maintains to this day. Town or city, what really matters is that it is an idyllic place, with a medieval image and full of charming corners. Although one stands out above the rest: its 16th century castle.

Antwerp

Many times it is in the shadow of its neighbors. However, it is more interesting than you might think: it has a very varied architecture, it offers a large number of museums of all kinds and here you can try the Elixir d’Anvers in its place of origin. To discover the city known as The City of Diamonds, it is best to sign up for a free tour.

Ghent

It is a monumental city, pleasant and full of life. You cannot leave without going through the Graslei and Korenlei docks, a beautiful pass. Curiosity: it is the birthplace of Carlos I.

The people who are imperative and very creative are characterized by being in constant movement, always thinking of new ways to create or transmit a message to the people around us. However, like all the people who are at home, and right now we all have a lot of free time in which we do not know what to do, it can be a vacation or a weekend at home, the important thing is to know how to use it for our benefit So here we leave you in this article some of the many things you can do at home and not waste your free time, we begin ...

Make a new design to your social networks, such as debugging your contacts, writing your thoughts so that people feel identified and you can chat a little from a distance with them, upload cute images, change your profile photos or update your data.

Search your favorite websites for places you have not been able to visit and plan your next trip, do research on cheap places, try to learn a new language, remember that the internet is a world full of many opportunities in which you can do many things. , it is simply that you want it, and you want to make it come true.

Another option that we leave you is that now that you have more free time, you can rearrange your room or one of the rooms in your home, in this way you get distracted, do a little exercise and even purify your things and to to generate a little money you can make a sale with the things that you no longer use, give them away or donate them.

You can get a little more creative than usual and you can make a mural with the photos that you have in your photo album stored in the closet or in a box in which you have all the memories and in this way not take your loved ones away , or you can even make that mural with the things you want to do in the future.

Now you can also read a little more, that is, a newspaper, a book that you have not read in a long time or if you do not have as we mentioned previously you can take advantage of the Internet and read a digital book or even an audio-book so that you can close your eyes and imagine that book and the things that are mentioned and raise the imagination and creativity in the whole family.

Visit the best beaches in Aruba

Aruba is home to some of the best beaches in Aruba. The best way to visit so many of Aruba's best beaches is to rent a car in Aruba. Our two best beaches are Eagle Beach and Baby Beach. But honestly, all of Aruba's beaches are beautiful. Be sure to read our detailed guide to Aruba's beaches.

Donkey Sanctuary

Definitely one of the most beautiful things to do in Aruba, a visit to the Donkey Sanctuary is a must for any animal lover. Who does not love donkeys? They all look so sweet! Donkeys were once the main form of transportation in Aruba, so there are unfortunately many of them now residing in the sanctuary. Donkeys are kept in large paddocks, with sick and injured donkeys cared for by the sanctuary.

See the famous Divi Divi trees

Only found in Aruba, Divi Divi trees can generally be found twisted in an incredible way. They get their shape because they were deformed and shaped by the trade winds that blow from the northeast. Although Aruba is outside the hurricane corridor, the winds are strong enough to slowly point the Divi Divi trees to the southwest. Locals swear that you just need to follow the curve in their branches to find a nearby town.

Arikok National Park

The Arikok National Park is huge, as it covers 20% of the island. A trip to Aruba should include exploring this unique side of the island. It is one of our favorite activities in Aruba and one of the many things that make Aruba unique to other Caribbean islands.

Try diving in Aruba

Some of the best diving in the Caribbean is in Aruba. If you are not a certified diver, Aruba is a great place to do an introductory dive. This is where a diver instructor will teach you the basics and dive with you to give you a small taste of what diving is all about.

Boca Prin sand dunes

Located in the Arikok National Park, visiting the Boca Prin sand dunes is a must and definitely one of our favorite activities in Aruba. The secluded beach has stunning white sand dunes that delightfully stand out against the rocky shores that surround them. It really is an idyllic place to hang out. Unfortunately, you can't go swimming as there are some pretty strong currents here. If you're bored with lounging on the beach, it's fun to explore the rugged terrain and surrounding rocks. There is a restaurant not far away, where you can have a drink or something to eat and enjoy the incredible scenery.

We lead such a busy life that, most of the time, we find it excessively difficult to slow down, breathe and be fully aware of everything around us. In these times of being at home, practically by imposition, it is time to stop, rethink everyday, modify routines and, of course, be with the family and here we suggest some things you can do, so Take note and it is your turn to carry out new activities within your home, we begin ...

Organize photo albums

Perhaps the time has come to organize all the photos that we have accumulated on our devices. Sorting and classifying them never hurts, both on the computer and on the mobile there are endless tools that allow image editing and management. There are also applications that will make it easier for you.

Make the wardrobe change

In addition, perhaps the time has come to select all those clothes, both ours and those of the children, which are in poor condition, are not worth us or are no longer wearing. If we keep letting this task go, there will come a time when we run out of cabinet or shelf space. Let's take advantage of the quarantine to change the wardrobe and organize spring and summer clothes.

Get your batteries on with DIY

Because this area of the house is becoming the best place to take a breather and why not have some neighborhood contact, perhaps the time has come to get down to business. A little artificial grass, a grinder, the occasional flower pot to plant, some folding chairs or a table. Any option is valid to create our disconnection space. Also, we may have been wanting to assemble a shelf that is still packed, put one more shelf in the living room, hang a painting or fix a coat rack.

Practice languages

Nowadays there are countless applications or websites where we can do exercises or play audios in another language. In addition, practically, through audiovisual content platforms we will have access to movies in original version and, if we do not want to pull screens, there are a lot of books that will help us in the task.

Paint a picture

Through a painting we can express all kinds of feelings and sensations, relax, disconnect and, why not, demonstrate our artistic talents. It will surely help us to face the day to day during the quarantine. In addition, it is an activity that we can do together with the children. We may have a blank canvas at home and an easel dead from laughter. The time has come to dust it off and start creating.

Cuba is the traveling dream of many of us, and it is not surprising: it is one of the islands with the most personality and history in the entire Caribbean. And of course, the most beautiful! If you have in mind to take a little trip to Cuba, we already gave you a few tips not to water it. But if what you want is to know what to visit, take note so that you take into account these suggestions and after all you can visit Cuba, we begin ...

1. If you still have time in Trinidad and you want a swim, go to Ancón Beach. Although it is necessary to warn you: the beaches and keys of Cuba are wonderful, and this is not one of the best. But if you are in the area it is always a good option.

2. Something you cannot stop doing in Cuba is having (at least) a mojito. The place where it was invented and most popular in Cuba is La Bodeguita del Medio in Old Havana, although it is best to do a wide and exhaustive tasting throughout the country. Cheers!

3. Trinidad is the most beautiful colonial city in Cuba. Lose yourself in its alleys, listen to the musicians in the main square, have a local drink (la canchánchara) and enjoy the tranquility of this tourist, but very relaxed destination. What to see and do in Trinidad.

4. To get to know a more rural and lost area between mountains, reach Viñales, in the north of the island. The town is not very big but with its colonial houses (and better yet ... its restaurants) it will conquer you (you and many other tourists). In its surroundings there are some surprises and if you want to learn how to make Cuban cigars ... this is your place. What to see and do in Viñales.

5. On the outskirts of Trinidad you can take a tour of the Valle de los Ingenios (to go there are taxis that offer the 25CUC tour). Do not miss a visit to Hacienda Manaza Iznaga, one of the most faithful examples of Cuban colonial mansions. And if you do not suffer from vertigo go up to its tower: the views from up there are spectacular

6. Visit Havana, the capital of Cuba and its soul. The center is a little architectural gem, but also give other neighborhoods a chance. You will find yourself a decadent city, however you will fall in love with its environment, its colors and its people. There is no other city like it in the world. What to see and do in Havana.

7. Another of the experiences that you have to live in Cuba is riding in an "almendrón", those old cars but so well cared for and colorful. Along with the Lada, it is the typical Cuban car that ... actually ... is from the United States! When Fidel came to power, the majority of Americans living in the country fled, leaving all their belongings on the island. Among which were these cars that were distributed among the Cubans.

8. Whether you are a professional dancer or if you cannot even follow in the footsteps of the little birds, in Cuba you have to join a salsa class. Or at least dare to take a few steps in a bar where there is always music. Silence is not an option in Cuba, this is clear.

9. After Havana, Santiago de Cuba is the second largest city in the country and is well worth a visit if you have at least 3 weeks of time. Also, if you travel in July, you will be caught by the carnival, one of the largest celebrations on the island.

10. If you are making the way from Havana to Trinidad, we recommend making a stop in Cienfuegos. It is a beautiful city that can be visited in a couple of hours.

It is called Melissani, since it has the most transparent turquoise waters that you have ever seen and a large skylight that lets in the rays of the sun, perfect for discovering all the nooks and crannies of this magical grotto located in Greece. Melissani is an ideal place to enjoy the king star with all the quality and protection; In short, so take note and be very careful so that your next trip is here, we begin ...

Paradise Story:

It is said that the nymph Melissani, a beautiful maiden-like deity, was in love with Pan, demigod of the shepherds and herds. However, he did not reciprocate her love, and in response, she committed suicide by drowning in the hidden blue waters of a cave. After that, other nymphs took the place as a refuge: there they could sing and dance away from the eyes of humans ... and fauns, who liked to kidnap them.

Many years later, an earthquake that affected the entire island of Kefalonia (Greece) left that divine grotto in sight: the roof fell, showing a natural skylight that turned the ancient cavern into a cenote. Then, Giannis Petrochilos, a speleologist, rediscovered it for humans in 1951.

And we say rediscovered because in 1962 relics of an ancient Minoan culture were found in the cave, which established there, on one of the islets, a sanctuary for Pan and the nymphs. There were figures of the demigod, a disc with images of the beautiful deities dancing in clay, a plate in which they were shown their procession and other similar objects of worship.

Today, these caves full of magical energy - and fresh and salt water at the same time! - can be visited in small boats led by a guide. They are made up of two “rooms” in the shape of a “B”: the first is the one that resembles a Mexican cenote, since it has a large oval opening in the ceiling; the second is vaulted and, although it is not so spectacular, it has a special intensity as it is submerged in darkness, full of algae, moss and stalactites.
