TULUM, MEXICO, THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MYSTERY

Or Tuluum Tulum was a walled city of the Mayan culture located in the state of Quintana Roo, southeast of Mexico, on the Caribbean coast.   Tulum Archaeological Zone
 The archaeological site of Tulum sits on the eastern coast of the state of Quintana Roo, in the region known as the East Coast of the Maya area. The city received in ancient Maya Zama name (meaning dawn in Mayan) and the current, Tulum (which means wall in Mayan), which appears to have been used to refer to the city when it was already in ruins. For the many records in murals and other works found in the buildings of the city, that Tulum was a major center of worship for the "diving god".
