MOUTH OF HEAVEN, Chiapas, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH

Chiapas is a state that has everything : forests, archaeological sites , colonial cities and beaches. And if it comes to beaches , one of the most beautiful is undoubtedly Boca del Cielo . This is for several reasons , the main one is that this is a pristine beach , which have not yet reached the engine noise of jet skis, or the bustle of big crowds. Moreover, there are no hotels .

The nearest town is Tonala, and from there depart passenger taxis take tourists to Boca del Cielo on a path of no more than 20 minutes, surrounded by the green of the palm trees. Once in Boca del Cielo , you must cross the small stream of water aboard a boat to get to the bar , which is how people call a piece of land between the estuary and the sea
of the Pacific Ocean . In the bar there are cabins where you can stay . Are stark , but clean, and the more attractive they are everywhere : the sea, the AERNA , stillness , hammocks hanging from the palapas , mangroves in the distance and the sound of the waves. For food you should not worry , because the fishermen who rent cabins usually also have restaurants .

Directions : Bus service in central TAPO direct buses depart Tonala, the journey takes about 15 hours. Once in Tonala take a taxi to Boca del Cielo . By plane , you can fly to Tuxtla Gutierrez and then take a bus to Tonala, the journey takes 2 ½ hours or so .

climate: Warm all year . Do not forget the sunscreen When to go: The whole year is good season.

Where to eat : In the restaurants of the cabins that are rented .

Where to sleep : In the cabins, here we recommend the Jesus Ventura , clean and for the same price you tie a hammock in the palapas and gives you a boat ride through the mangroves .
